As already apparent in their titles, these photo cycles to me represent a commitment to photography as a medium of looking closely, of perception and of communication.
Everyday objects, so often failed to be recognized, let alone treasured, are capable of revealing an exciting, mysterious world and evoking associations and recollections.
The bright, the wide, the spiritual as well as the the dark, the earthly, the material... all of this is able to leave traces of time and place in a picture and enter into a dialogue with the observer.
